| Learn to Draw Manga ( Japanese Style Comics) Ages 10 - 18yrs. Students will plan, develop and draw their own originally designed characters in the highly popular Japanese comics style. They will combine their action packed characters with slick backgrounds, to create a finished 2' X 3' painted and finished piece to hang on their wall. Students bring their own lunch and snacks. | Creepy Lawn Ghouls (and Boys) (5ft. Character) Ages 7 & up Make a life size creepy lawn monster. We will show you plenty of cool tricks and treats so you can make a whole menagerie of monsters for your lawn. Students will construct their own monster to take home. Boo...scarey! Ages 5 & up
In This workshop students will develop a free
form mask or a mask with a hangable base.
Two classes are required, class 1 includes
development of the internal structure of the
face and the layering of papier mache. In
Class 2 students add colour and additional
adornments to complete the look of their mask.

The focus of this program will differ from the previous program offered in the spring
of 2009
Want to learn to draw your own comics, cartoons & Japanese style comics?
Kids and teens will learn the primary aspects of cartoon character development
such as facial expressions, figures in motion, and special effects. Step- by- step
lessons will help students develop their skills into a short comic book with an
emphasis on story board development.
Saturdays, November 7 - December 12 (2009) (6 weeks)
